and Forecasts into Aviation Operations Workshop developed by the American Meteorological Society Policy Program & SolarMetrics The AMS Policy Program and SolarMetrics, in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/Space Environment Center (NOAA/SEC), National Science Foundation (NSF), & NextGen Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO) held a workshop November 29-30, 2006 in Washington DC. Recommendations were made on how to improve the safety and operations of the nations aviation system through better integration of space weather information.
